Claude Console
The web interface for the Developer Platform — API keys, usage, spend, rate limits, and a workbench for testing prompts.
Last verified August 21, 2026 · 2 sources
The Console is where API accounts are administered: keys, usage, spend, rate limits, and a workbench for drafting and testing prompts in the browser.
The one feature worth knowing about
Usage → Export. It produces a CSV broken down by API key and model.
That is the answer to “which of our services is still calling a model that retires next month”, and it is the difference between finding out now and finding out from a 404 in production. Anthropic documents it specifically as the deprecation audit path.

What it is not
- Not the Claude apps. Different account, different billing, different limits.
- Not where Claude Code subscription usage appears. Claude Code billed against a claude.ai subscription reports elsewhere; see analytics.
