Editorial policy
What gets published, how it is checked, how it is corrected, and where the money is.
Scope
CWork101 covers anything a reasonable person would consider part of the Claude ecosystem: products and surfaces, model families and individual models, Claude Code and everything it can be configured with, the agent stack, the developer platform and its cloud resellers, plans and limits, official learning material, published safety and usage policy, and notable third-party projects.
It does not cover speculation about unreleased products, leaks, or benchmark leaderboards.
Every page is an entity
Pages are not articles; they are records about a thing. That is why they all share one shape: a one-sentence definition, a fact sheet, what it does and what it does not do, availability, limitations, relationships, comparisons, sources and a change log. The uniformity is the point — it makes two pages comparable and makes the whole site machine-readable.
Verification
- Every page records a last verified date. It means a human re-checked the page's claims against its sources on that date — not that the page was edited.
- Sources are graded into four tiers, and the tier limits how firmly a claim may be worded.
- Facts that cannot be sourced are omitted and displayed as "not documented". They are never estimated.
- Every page has a review interval set by how fast its subject actually moves — 30 days for models and plans, 60 for products and the agent stack, 90 for Academy material, 180 for policy. Pages past their review date are listed publicly on thechange log.
Review cadence
A single site-wide interval was the wrong model. Claude Sonnet 5's price changed twice in three months; Constitutional AI has not materially moved in years. Reviewing both on the same schedule means either chasing policy pages pointlessly or letting pricing rot.
| Section | Reviewed every | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Models | 30 days | Releases, deprecation dates and pricing all move here |
| Plans & limits | 45 days | Pricing and inclusions change without announcement |
| Products | 60 days | Beta-to-GA transitions and availability shifts |
| Claude Code, Agents, Platform | 60 days | Claude Code ships weekly |
| Academy | 90 days | The catalogue changes, but slowly |
| Safety & policy | 180 days | Versioned documents, revised deliberately |
Within each band the due dates are spread deterministically, so the queue stays a handful of pages a week rather than the whole site falling due at once. The spread only ever pulls a review earlier than its interval, never later.
Change tracking
Renames, availability changes, status transitions and deprecations are recorded against the page they affect, with a date, and published to the feed. Copy-editing and formatting are not logged — a change log full of typo fixes is a change log nobody reads.
Automated monitoring may flag that an upstream page changed. It never publishes directly: a detected diff becomes a review task, a human decides what actually changed, and only then does the entity and its change log get updated.
Corrections
Corrections are made as soon as they are confirmed, and the page's change log says what changed. Material corrections — a wrong price, a wrong limit, a wrongly stated availability — are logged even when the fix is small, because someone may have acted on the wrong version.Send corrections here.
Third-party projects
The ecosystem directory separates official Anthropic projects from independent community ones and never blurs the two. Community entries carry a warning that the project is unaffiliated and unreviewed by Anthropic. Inclusion is not endorsement.
Money
- The reference itself is free and stays free.
- Sponsored directory placements are labelled Sponsored on every surface they appear on.
- Sponsorship buys visibility. It does not buy a description, a ranking, a rating, or the removal of a security note.
- Nothing on this site is an affiliate link disguised as a recommendation.
Independence
CWork101 is not built, reviewed or funded by any of the companies it documents. Nothing on this site is written to a vendor's brief, and no listing, ranking or description is for sale — see the money section above for exactly what is.
